About the Role
The Strategic Communications Director at Atlantis Bahamas will lead the development and implementation of overall communications strategies across various teams. This individual will work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to create a unified vision for branding, visibility, and ROI in established and developing markets.
This position requires strong leadership skills to provide guidance and counsel to agency and in-house PR teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in public relations, partnership marketing, and social media, as well as expertise in managing partnerships programs and supervising staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
- Prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and clients
- Nurture collaboration between marketing, on-island operations, and other departments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field
- 15 years of experience in public relations, partnership marketing, and social media
- Agency and travel experience is highly desirable
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
