What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Digital Marketing position at Hotwire Communications?
The Director of Director of Digital Marketing plays a crucial role in driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention by executing campaigns through diverse digital channels including email, our mobile app, paid social media, Display Ads, PPC, owned and operated spaces (such as set-top box messaging and commercial space inventory), our corporate website and more, with a focus on lead generation, conversion and brand awareness.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns across residential and enterprise verticals, focusing on awareness, lead generation, customer conversion, and retention.
- Oversee and manage campaigns across various sales channels, including email, mobile app, paid social media, Display Ads, PPC and owned/operated space.
- Drive the development and implementation of performance tracking and reporting systems to measure the success of digital campaigns, providing actionable insights for continuous optimization and improvements.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously refine campaigns, enhance targeting, improve conversion rates, and optimize the customer journey across all digital touchpoints.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to integrate and leverage HubSpot or similar CRM tools to manage and track lead flow, segment audiences, and personalize marketing messages.
- Work collaboratively with product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure marketing campaigns align with broader business objectives, and support initiatives across different lifecycle stages.
- Ensure high-quality content for digital marketing campaigns, from email templates to app messaging and social media ads, ensuring alignment with brand voice and strategic objectives
- Lead and manage multiple campaigns across varying lifecycle stages and sales channels simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and goals are met with a high level of attention to detail and communication
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on multi-channel campaign management, preferably in telecommunications, technology, or related industry.
- Proven experience managing campaigns across email, app-based messaging, paid social media, and owned spaces (e.g., set-top box messaging, commercial inventory).
- Strong knowledge of analytics platforms and marketing CRM tools (HubSpot or similar).
- Expertise in tracking campaign performance, analyzing data, and making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement and optimization.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and campaigns at once.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and content creation skills.
- Ability to lead and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in B2B and B2C marketing.
