Manager Passenger Operations

Overview

This position is responsible to Manage and oversee the passenger operation and ensure all planning and coordinating for passenger charters including both military and commercial/VIP are in place for the operation.

Responsibilities

• Ability to follow Department Standard Operational processes
• Provide direction and guidance to the ground operations Passenger Planner team
• Communicate with all levels of management within Atlas as required
• Work with Sales and Customer Service to understand customer requirements and expectations
• Directly communicates and identifies vendors who can meet and deliver on flight requirements
• Communication with procurement for vendor selection and work orders
• Identify operational risks and hazard, tracks, elevate, and solve any issues as required
• Follow Company, local, and government safety and security policies and procedures.
• Follows up with vendors for ground handling invoices and works with our finance department on payments
• Continually evaluate vendor performance and work for overall improvements
• Communicates with US and Foreign entities for passenger arrival and departure requirements
• Works closely with Atlas Air Security department on the overall operation processes
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• BA in Aviation required or equivalent ground handling/airline operations supervisory experience
• Minimum four years of experience in airline/ground handling operations and (3 years of experience within department or equivalent)
• Must be knowledgeable in all areas of aircraft, military, and passenger operations

  • Ability to understand all aspects of Ground and Passenger operations

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook, PowerPoint

Salary Range: $75,000-$107,000
