Overview
The Pilot Support Agent will oversee day to day tasks in support of administrative issues and requests for Crewmembers including interdepartmental matters. The agent will be responsible for organization of crew issue tracking and communications.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for timely responses and monitoring of Pilot Support email inbox, phone hotline, and Freshdesk system to ensure prompt service to Crewmembers.
- Resolve issues and reduce frustration for Crewmembers.
- Maintaining professional working relationships with internal departments, such as HR, Finance, IT, Benefits, etc.
- Assist the Chief Pilots in their day-to-day oversight of Crewmembers, including but not limited to:
- Leaves of absence
- Benefits
- Payroll system / issues
- Authorizations and letters
- Crewmember well-being checks related to emergency/natural disasters or personal issues
- Compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Provide health monitoring for Crewmembers to include medical case management, contact tracing, quarantine management, health check-ins, return to work releases, etc.
- Coordinates special projects from start to finish (presentations, scheduling and coordination of meetings, following up on tasks).
- Compose and distribute communications and memos to crewmembers, vendors, and other departments.
- Troubleshooting Crewmember technical questions regarding IT issues, Expense Report issues, etc.
- Provide Flight Operations support for New Hire orientation in person or virtually, as required.
- Provide supplies and support, as required, for Domestic and International Crewmembers.
- Maintain retirement and anniversary certificates/awards for distribution to Crewmembers.
- Apply knowledge of Atlas/Southern CBA to ensure process and procedures are followed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager, Flight Crew Support and Inflight Standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum High school diploma required
- College degree or related experience required
- Experience in Part 121/135 operations preferred
- 2 years of Aviation Experience is preferred
- Self-starter, enthusiastic, dependable, and professional team player. Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
- Strong problem solving skills, decision-making, and demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification is preferred
Special demands:
- Must be flexible and able to work various hours and weekends.
- Minimum 10% Travel is required
- Must have flexibility and no restrictions to travel globally
