We are seeking a Commercial Door Hardware Installer to join our team in a warehouse-based role. Unlike traditional field installation jobs, this position offers year-round, steady work in a controlled environment with the support of pneumatic lifts and handling equipment to facilitate the installation process.
The ideal candidate will have experience installing commercial door hardware, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. In-house training will be provided to ensure familiarity with company processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install commercial door hardware (locks, closers, exit devices, hinges, etc.) in a warehouse setting
- Use pneumatic lifts and handling equipment to assist with door installation
- Follow project specifications and quality standards to ensure accurate installation
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with commercial door hardware installation preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents (preferred but not required)
- Self-motivated, team player with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift and maneuver doors and hardware with the assistance of pneumatic lifts
- Basic computer skills for tracking work progress and reviewing installation plans
Work Schedule & Environment:
- Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (occasional overtime may be required)
- 100% warehouse-based – no job site travel required
- Work performed in a controlled indoor environment with safety and efficiency tools available
