We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to join our organization, responsible for developing business, increasing revenue, and growing market share within their assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have minimum three years of industrial sales experience, preferably in equipment/service like air compressors, nitrogen generators, or steam generators. Strong customer service orientation and excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. The Area Sales Manager will work effectively as a team player, independently managing time and priorities. This position involves visiting customers at job sites, business offices, and negotiating rental contracts. A thorough understanding of market conditions and execution of strategies to achieve revenue goals are critical aspects of this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will demonstrate selling and interpersonal communications skills, ability to keep commitments, and build trust. They should be proficient in using organizational and time management skills, working with sales and budget forecasts, applying effective selling practices, and conducting productive cold calling, prospecting, and customer sourcing activities. Additionally, the individual must be resilient and possess a growth mindset. A valid driver's license is also required.
