Atlas Demolition is currently seeking an innovative, adaptive, and client-focused Construction Project Estimator to work out of our location in Rock Hill, SC.

As a Construction Project Estimator, you will be essential to our team, overseeing demolition projects and driving business growth. Your key responsibilities will include: Cost Estimation, Project Analysis, Bid Preparation, Lead Generation, Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination, Budget Management, Risk Assessment, Client Communication and Project Documentation.

Construction Project Estimator Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed cost estimates for demolition projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and site conditions to define scope and identify challenges.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals for private and public projects.
• Build and maintain partnerships to generate leads and referrals.
• Source and negotiate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive estimates.
• Monitor project budgets to align with estimates, providing updates and adjustments as needed.
• Identify and mitigate risks affecting costs and timelines.
• Communicate with clients to clarify requirements and provide project updates.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and correspondence.
• Stay informed on industry standards and regulations to maintain competitive estimates.
• Invoice clients upon job or project stage completion.

Construction Project Estimator Qualifications:

• 3 years of demolition construction experience as a project estimator.
• Proven experience building relationships with GC’s, temp agencies and restoration prospects.
• Skilled in evaluating job scope, coordinating project logistics and overseeing payment through project completion.
• Proficient in reading blueprints/construction demolition plans.
• Experience with bidding software Blue Beam.
• Experience with bid sites, like Plan hub and Procore.
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills, along with organization and time management.
• Confidently build rapport and trust with clients/vendors, leveraging excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
