Atlas Restaurant Group is seeking a Business Operations Manager to oversee financial operations and drive efficiency across our restaurant portfolio. This role is critical in ensuring strong financial performance, optimizing operational processes, and supporting the overall growth of the business. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in financial management within the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Operations & Reporting:- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting, including P&L statements, cash flow management, and budget tracking.
- Ensure accuracy in financial records and compliance with accounting best practices.
- Work with leadership to develop financial strategies that improve profitability.
- Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely invoice processing, vendor payments, and payroll management.
- Utilize RSP Restaurant Systems Pro daily to monitor and ensure manager accountability for inventory management, invoice processing, and labor goals.
- Develop and maintain annual budgets for each restaurant location.
- Analyze financial data to create accurate forecasts and make data-driven recommendations.
- Track key performance metrics and assess financial performance against goals.
- Implement and improve financial systems and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Standardize reporting and analytics across all restaurant locations.
- Assist in vendor negotiations and contract management to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Support restaurant managers with financial insights and training to improve operational decision-making.
- Degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of financial management experience, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant accounting principles and financial best practices.
- Experience with financial reporting software, QuickBooks, RSP Restaurant Systems Pro, and POS systems, etc.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate with restaurant managers and executives.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
