Atlas Machine And Supply is looking for a skilled Portable Machinery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Field Service Division, you will operate and maintain various portable machining equipment to support our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate mills, flange facers, boring bars, lathes, welders, and other portable machinery
- Repair and modify equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with project engineers and supervisors to discuss work scope and requirements
- Participate in site visits and job planning to identify equipment needs
- Contribute to the development of efficient work procedures and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanic and onsite field machining
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- DOT certification required; must be 21 years or older
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Valid CDL License a plus
