Responsibilities

• Operate various grinding machines, including surface grinders, manual grinders, and OD/ID grinding machines.
• Perform deburring and finishing tasks to achieve specified tolerances and surface finishes.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
• Utilize belt sanders and other finishing tools to enhance product quality.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal finishing.
• Strong deburring experience and familiarity with various grinding techniques.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience operating surface grinders, manual grinders, and OD/ID grinding machines.
• Knowledge of belt sanders and other metal finishing tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
