Your Responsibilities

• Grind and Finish Metal Parts: Use grinding tools (surface grinders, bench grinders, or cylindrical grinders) to finish and smooth metal parts to exact specifications.
• Inspect Finished Components: Ensure all metal parts meet quality standards and specifications, making adjustments as needed.
• Deburring and Polishing: Remove burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from metal parts to ensure smooth surfaces and proper function.
• Tool Maintenance: Maintain and properly care for grinding tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including machinists and supervisors, to ensure smooth workflow and meet production deadlines.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient environment.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Experience: Previous experience in metal grinding, finishing, or deburring is preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Strong ability to recognize surface defects and ensure high-quality finishes on metal parts.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with different grinding machines and metal finishing techniques.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and address issues related to grinding and finishing processes.
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety procedures related to operating grinding equipment and handling metal materials.
