Overnight Security Officer

Atlas Pacific Security is currently hiring professional, armed security officers for overnight shifts for vehicle patrol and onsite security. These positions generally operate on a 8-10-hour shift with consecutive days off. Pay range is $21-$26 dependent on experience and qualifications.

Who We Are

Atlas Pacific Security, headquartered in Vancouver WA, provides vehicle patrol and onsite security throughout the greater Portland & Vancouver area. We specialize in armed, vehicle patrol, and operate predominantly between the hours of 18:00-06:00, for a variety of clients including commercial and large-scale residential properties. We are a growing company which patrols over 200 properties and counting!

The Job

We are hiring for night shift positions only.

Our vehicle patrol teams operate out of our Vancouver office. During the shifts, Officers will patrol properties in their district and are directed by our in-house dispatchers to respond to calls for service from our clients or their residents.

Onsite security officers, while on a similar schedule as patrol, go directly to their duty station for their shift. The shift beginning and end times vary according to the client.

All employees have consecutive days off considered in the scheduling process as much as possible. All shifts have an on-call day and overtime is often available due to this. A typical Officer schedule is a 4-day, 10 hour shift, working schedule plus an on-call day.

For those seeking to make a career in the security field, Atlas Pacific Security trains all our officers in every facet of the job to Oregon and Washington certification standards.

Our officers are provided with all the tools needed for safety and success to include upon completion of training or certifications. Training includes Licensing, perishable skills in Baton, OC Spray, Taser and Handcuffing. Use of personal gear is allowed, if it meets company minimum standards for the item.

All security officers will undergo a two-week period of riding with a Field Training Officer prior to any solo shifts. A firearm inspection and safety test must be completed before carrying while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Driver License with clean record
• DPSST and/or Washington DOL
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED
