We are seeking a skilled Cable Installation Operator to join our team at Atlas Professionals. As an operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining carousel systems, tensioners, and loading towers onshore and offshore.
The successful candidate will have experience in operating equipment, conducting routine inspections, and resolving technical issues. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the project team and clients are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain subsea cable lay systems, carousel systems, and loading towers.
- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance.
- Review project-specific documentation and understand the scope of the Cable Installation Project.
- Monitor equipment performance and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with the project team and clients to ensure smooth operations.
Certifications and Qualifications:
- Electrical or mechanical education with electrical/hydraulic experience.
- OGUK Medical
- BOSIET with CA-EBS
- Seaman's Book
- Chester Step Test
- VCA or equivalent (SCC: Safety Certificate for Contractors)
- First Aid
