What are the responsibilities and job description for the Offshore Equipment Operator position at Atlas Professionals?
About the Role :
As an Operator, you will work onshore and offshore, operating and maintaining the clients carousel systems, tensioners, and loading towers. The basket carousel and loading tower system will be used for transporting and handling the umbilicals on deck during the installation process. You will play an important role in operating our equipment, supporting the transport and installation of umbilicals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain subsea cable lay systems, carousel systems, and loading towers safely and efficiently to optimize cable installation processes.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
- Understand the scope of the Cable Installation Project and reviews all project specific Cable installation documentation.
- Monitor equipment performance and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the project team and clients to ensure smooth operations.
- Report incidents during your shift to the supervisor / superintendent.
- Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations while working.
