Atlas Restaurant Group is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to join our team at The Ruxton.

The Executive Sous Chef’s general responsibilities revolve around assisting the Executive Chef with the management of the Back of the House staff. This role is hands-on and requires attention to detail along with a positive work attitude. The Executive Sous Chef plans and directs how the food is presented on the plate, keep the kitchen staff focused and on task, train new chefs, create the work schedule, and make sure all the food that goes to the customer is of the best quality, while maintaining high standards.
Key Areas of Knowledge & Skill:
- Have 3-5 years of Culinary experience in high volume fine dining with a minimum of 2 years in Management.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours as needed
- Self-starter capable of leading, directing, and supporting a diverse team with high interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality food and dining experiences
- Strong knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and dietary accommodations
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to effectively address various situations in a changing environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with restaurant software such as: Toast (POS), ADP Workforce Now, Restaurant365, PayDay Portal, Avero, and XtraChef is advantageous.
- Ability to speak, write and understand English is required. Ability to speak Spanish is not required but desirable.
- Possess a valid form of identification and Serv-safe certification.

The annual salary for this role is $75,000-85,000
