Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial transactions, reporting, and compliance to support our growing business.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit-and-loss reports.
• Monitor and manage inventory cost accounting and ensure proper valuation.
• Process payroll, tax filings, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Reconcile discrepancies in financial reports and resolve accounting issues.
• Work closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, audits, and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist in implementing and improving accounting systems and controls.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a wholesale or distribution environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting and cost analysis is a plus.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
