We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial transactions, reporting, and compliance to support our growing business.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit-and-loss reports.
- Monitor and manage inventory cost accounting and ensure proper valuation.
- Process payroll, tax filings, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Reconcile discrepancies in financial reports and resolve accounting issues.
- Work closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, audits, and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist in implementing and improving accounting systems and controls.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a wholesale or distribution environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and cost analysis is a plus.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
