What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support Specialist position at Atlas Search?
We are currently collaborating with a leading Asset Manager to identify a Technical Support Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for addressing and resolving technical issues for end users, encompassing both hardware and software-related challenges.
Responsibilities
- Provide deskside and remote support to users, ensuring timely resolution of IT support requests.
- Installed, configured, maintained, and troubleshooted computer hardware, software, audio/visual equipment, networks, printers, and peripherals.
- Offer technical training to end users and ensure documentation of incidents and resolutions per knowledge management standards.
- Represent the company with professionalism in all interactions and collaborate with team members to provide efficient support.
- Test new desktop technologies and software.
- Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude when working with colleagues and employees.
- Support high-level technical issues as needed.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience providing IT support in a professional environment.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365.
- Experience with computer hardware is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
- In-depth knowledge of maintaining Windows 10 OS.
- Experience handling daily support tickets across Tier 1 to Tier 3 requirements.
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
