What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Patient Access (PA / NY) position at Atlas Search?
I'm partnered with a growing Biopharma and supporting them with an exciting new opportunity as they look to bring on a Field Reimbursement Manager / Director, Patient Access to cover the Northeast territory including PA to MA. The position is fully remote with approximately 50% travel and is full-time / permanent. The Director of Patient Access (DPA) supports all Market Access touchpoints to include Healthcare Professional (HCP) and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) Clinic processes dealing with Authorizations, Site-of-Care solutions, Support communication and collaboration with all company support team members.
Responsibilities :
- Develops and executes geographical strategic and tactical plans to meet customer and business needs.
- Provides education and support to targeted accounts and HCPs on manufacturer’s support programs and available prior authorization and reauthorization patient access services.
- Provides assistance to all accounts to help overcome access barriers.
- Ensures all actions taken create a positive impact on the patient journey.
- Provides education on company Support services to facilitate patient access.
- Interacts as needed with stakeholders in all sites-of-care to include physician practices, hospitals and alternative sites of care.
- Reviews DPA portal information to help resolve issues and coverage challenges.
