Our client is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead their Emergency Room (ER) team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, managing staff, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a background in emergency or critical care nursing, outstanding communication skills, and a passion for excellence in patient care.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to ER nursing staff.
- Oversee daily operations, staffing, and resource management.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and best practices in emergency care.
- Collaborate with physicians, administration, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and maintain a high standard of patient safety.
- Mentor, coach, and support professional development of nursing staff.
- Manage departmental budget and resource allocation efficiently.
- Address patient concerns and ensure an excellent patient experience.
- Requirements :
- Current RN license in the state of Colorado (or ability to obtain).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree (MSN, MBA, or MHA) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency room or critical care nursing.
- At least 1-2 years of leadership / management experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
