Our client is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead their Emergency Room (ER) team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, managing staff, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a background in emergency or critical care nursing, outstanding communication skills, and a passion for excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide leadership, direction, and support to ER nursing staff.
Oversee daily operations, staffing, and resource management.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and best practices in emergency care.
Collaborate with physicians, administration, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Drive quality improvement initiatives and maintain a high standard of patient safety.
Mentor, coach, and support professional development of nursing staff.
Manage departmental budget and resource allocation efficiently.
Address patient concerns and ensure an excellent patient experience.
Requirements :
Current RN license in the state of Colorado (or ability to obtain).
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree (MSN, MBA, or MHA) preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency room or critical care nursing.
At least 1-2 years of leadership / management experience in a hospital setting.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and team-building skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
