My client is one of the Premier Alternative Investment Funds in the world. The firm has consistently outperformed its competitors with strategies across PE, RE, Credit and HF solutions. They offer a tremendous amount of exposure and growth potential, and they are constantly launching new funds and fund strategies.
They are looking to add a VP SEC Reporting and Fund Finance for one of their Publicly Traded Private Equity funds. Looking for smart motivated candidates ready to take the next step in their career. Open to combo candidates or straight big 4 auditors with SEC Reporting experience and fund knowledge.
This position is a mix of SEC Reporting, fund accounting and finance.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with internal and external teams to oversee the preparation and review of the 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, and other recurring SEC filings
- Ensure SEC filings include all required disclosures
- Collaborate with various teams to prepare accounting policy memos for new transactions and analyze new accounting standards to determine impact on the funds
- Work directly with internal and external teams to ensure the financial results are appropriately recorded in the fund’s financial statements
- Manage relationship and communication with internal and external auditors; oversee SOX controls and documentation
- Collaborate with teams on preparing Audit Committee materials
- Responsible for all required fund regulatory reporting
- Coordinate with technology teams to improve automation of manual processes
- Assist with ad hoc analysis and projects
- Execute team’s strategic plan
- Generate creative solutions to improve processes
- Managing and mentoring junior staff
Qualifications
- 12-20 years of experience with SEC Reporting and knowledge of the Fund Space.
- Open to Straigh Big 4 Auditors at the Senior Manager/Director level with FS clients and SEC experience. OR Combo candidates with SEC Reporting ideally at a publicly traded Fund but open to any financial services.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic culture, with the ability to take initiative and be hands-on.

Salary : $175,000 - $220,000
