What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler - Sign Manufacturing position at Atlas Sign Industries?
Atlas Sign Industries is looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Assembler to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing and preparing various types of signage, ensuring they meet quality standards and client specifications. This role requires proficiency with hand and power tools, an eye for detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, fabricate, and install different types of signs including LED, acrylic, metal and other materials.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Positioning parts and subassemblies by using templates and reading measurements.
- Resolving assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications
- Will use battery-powered hand tools (drill, impact gun), soldering equipment, and hammer
- May do minor, low voltage electrical wiring for signs
- Additional duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Hours: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
- Experience with hand tools and performing basic mechanical assembly
- Jig saw cutting is a plus
- Great attention to detail
- Be able to be on your feet for most of the workday and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to cross -train within departments
- Works well in a team environment
- Good attendance required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
