We are seeking an experienced Program Portfolio Manager to manage a $10M portfolio of federal programs. This role requires a well-rounded skill set that includes strong leadership, effective communication, relationship-building with customers, financial expertise, business development, risk assessment, and adaptability. The ideal candidate will be an inspirational leader who actively engages with customers, fosters a strong connection with their team, and consistently makes decisions aligned with the company’s best interests.
This person will work a hybrid schedule in the Dulles, VA office 2 days / week.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain and support delivery excellence of a portfolio of programs through appropriate staffing, risk identification and mitigation, compliance with all contract requirements, reporting of key metrics, and overall performance with high integrity.
- Manage a portfolio of program budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and track financial performance, with ability to have effective communication to convey financial insights and strategies.
- Execute corporate goals and budgets and provide financial reporting in the form of metrics.
- Lead, mentor and motivate teams, and provide oversight to delivery staff including Program Managers and support staff on contracts.
- Work collaboratively with back office financial and contracts support teams.
- Foster collaboration, resolve conflicts, and ensure employee growth.
- Clearly convey program updates, challenges, and successes to stakeholders.
- Present program status to executive leadership and external audiences.
- Identify expansion opportunities and potential markets for growth.
- Oversee the business development pipeline in coordination with the business development and capture organization by identifying and pursuing opportunities that align with the company’s capabilities and strategic direction.
- Build strong relationships with federal clients, employees, and partners. Understand their needs and align program goals accordingly.
- Build and maintain business partnerships to drive revenue.
- Attend Industry Events relevant to customers and opportunities.

Compensation :
Salary Range : $150,000 – $175,000
The salary range for this position is a general guideline only. It represents an estimated range for this position and is just one piece of our total compensation package.
Salary at our company is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work schedule, the candidate’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, market data and business considerations.
Additionally, this position may be eligible for an incentive compensation bonus plan.
