Job Summary
We're hiring a Learning Experience Designer on our customer learning team. This role sits within the Learning Content Design team which is responsible for creating and maintaining all customer learning content. In this role, you will collaborate across the Atlassian Community & Learning team on varied projects that further the team’s vision to improve product adoption and provide tangible value and career advancement for our learners through on demand learning content design and production.
Responsibilities:What you'll do
Design, develop, and maintain on demand learning content for our on demand learner library.
Design, develop, and maintain live learning content for community led, event in a box, Atlassian events, Authorized Training Partners, and other strategic business needs.
Build engaging, informational, and visually compelling learning experiences.
Work to ensure that all training materials are consistent, up-to-date, and aligned with the larger team and company goals.
Establish positive relationships with SMEs and other partners to ensure learning experiences are designed to improve customer outcomes.
Find new ways to produce content that scales and resonates with our increasingly global audience.
Support the creation of standardized tools, metrics, and evaluation processes across training to ensure a scalable approach when evaluating and addressing learning needs.
Use agile methodology to define, create, develop, and manage content projects through a prioritized backlog.
Collect and analyze course evaluation data to improve training content and effectiveness.
Influence and drive the development and maintenance of Learning Experience Design processes and other team workflows to live within our team specific confluence space and in the Learning Design Hub.
Your background
You have 3-5 years of experience developing industry leading learning experiences.
You hold deep expertise in Learning Experience Design practices, adult learning principles, and effective methods of applying those in learning content design.
You have experience in data-driven decision-making and prioritizing projects based on learner needs and business goals.
You have experience leading through influence and peer leadership.
You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and changing professional landscape.
You champion you projects to drive them to completion and delivery amidst the shifting nature of Saas.
You thrive in collaborative, fast-paced, environments and are innovative, creative, and like to experiment.
You have experience in stakeholder management, are a strong collaborator, and are skilled in project management
Nice to Haves:
Atlassian Product Experience
Degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Training and Development, Human Resource Development.
Certified Scrum Master Certification
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $121,500 - $162,000
Zone B: $109,400 - $145,800
Zone C: $100,800 - $134,500
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
