We are looking for an experienced and motivated Wholesale Sales Manager to join our team and drive growth in the contemporary fashion Apparel sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wholesale sales, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the contemporary fashion market. As the Wholesale Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our wholesale accounts, developing and executing sales strategies, and ensuring that our contemporary brand achieves its sales goals while maintaining an elevated brand presence in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities :
- Wholesale Account Management : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key wholesale partners, including high-end department stores (Neiman’s, SAKS, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom’s), specialty retailers (ShopBop, Revolve, Net-a-Porter), and multi-brand boutiques.
- Sales Strategy Development : Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement effective wholesale sales strategies aimed at expanding market share, increasing revenue, and achieving sales targets. Manage sales forecasts and track performance against goals.
- New Account Acquisition : Identify and secure new wholesale accounts and retail partnerships to increase distribution and grow brand presence in key markets, both domestically and internationally.
- Market Analysis & Trend Forecasting : Stay informed of industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies and recommend new product opportunities or improvements.
- Order Management & Distribution : Oversee the order process, ensuring orders are placed, processed, and delivered on time. Work closely with the logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Performance Management : Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing wholesale accounts. Implement action plans where necessary to improve sales performance or address issues that may arise.
