PASSENGER SECURITY HYBRID

Description

Following duties and responsibilities along with guidelines of the company must be followed strictly with full coordination among superiors, subordinates and all related parties working as drivers, shipside guards, cabin guards, catering guards, ticket counter guards and baggage porters.

• Enforce Safety and Company Guideline

• Coordination of Arrival and Departure Flights with agents and airlines 

• Coordination of ramp, lobby, gate, counter, catering.

• Maintain Communication with Mgr, A-Mgr, Supervisors, A-Sup and agents. 

• Maintain constant communication with Airlines and LAWA.

• Complaint Resolution

• Writing reports and attend staff meetings

• Delegating subordinates

• Read and Understand Company Policy

• Know airline drop off and pickup locations at gates and remotes

• Adhere to company safety rules and regulations

• Comply with the Airport SAFE program

• Comply with Baggage Standard Operating Procedure

• Must now set up the counter ( Extensions, signs, banners, chairs, carpets etc..)

• Coordinate working in front of the counter and assist passengers offloading their luggages from the carts into the scale. If working behind the counter must remove the luggages from the scale and place them into the belt.

• Comply with proper baggage hygiene and Airport Rules and Regulations

• Check quality and content of a hand wand and paperwork   

• Inspect ramp area prior arrival of the aircraft  

• Comply with all TSA and Airport Rules and Regulations

• Know how to prepare all seals and paperwork prior the inspection of the carts   

• Prepare seal availability                         

• Check catering status and perform duties       

• Check ramp BSA status and perform duties    

• Check ramp driving status and perform duties    

• Must have basic math skills        

• Get flight ETA and gate number from the airline office.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in English

• College Experience Preferred

• Airport experience a big plus

• Must have some similar airport environment experience. 

• Able to stay overtime to get the work done in timely manner

• Good customer service skill

• Good telephone etiquette

• Must be able to work at a fast paced environment

• Ability to push a passenger up/down a 6ºslope 

• Ability to lift a 250 lb passenger to and from a seat

• Must pass an extensive background check 

• Must have a CA Driver License in good standing

• Must be able to receive a Restricted Driving Icon through a test

• Must be able to stand 6-8 hours daily

• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions

• Must be able to work split shifts

• Must have common sense

• Must be able to legally work in the U.S.A.
