We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial cleaning and custodial management, particularly within the hotel or hospitality industry. This role is essential in ensuring that all guest areas are impeccably clean, well-organized, and welcoming.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring that all areas meet IHG Brand cleanliness standards.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and policies to enhance efficiency.
- Manage and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Monitor and control daily costs per occupied room.
- Coordinate floor care activities including carpet cleaning, waxing, and polishing.
- Address guest complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or higher level education
- 2 years Housekeeping or similar experience with at least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial best practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with floor care equipment and techniques is preferred.
