**Job Overview**
We are seeking a seasoned Global Safety Program Director to join our Corporate HSE team. This key member will support the strategic development of health and safety culture, risk mitigation, and performance across 8 global distribution centers.
**Responsibilities**
- Identify new technologies to improve risk mitigation and develop a strategic roadmap for implementation.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on control measures for Powered Industrial Vehicles, Dock Safety, and warehouse Material Handling Safety.
- Support the development of HSE procedures and tools to ensure conformance with ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards.
- Benchmark externally with industry peers and develop relationships with key suppliers.
- Directly support Distribution Center site leadership in responding to critical issues such as incident investigation or regulatory compliance findings.
- Work with HSE representatives and consultants at non-US sites to ensure employees and third-party logistics partners demonstrate regulatory compliance and conformance to Atmus internal policies and procedures.
- Support Distribution Center HSE teams in utilizing the Legal Compliance IT system to ensure an up-to-date Legal Register and associated Compliance Task Calendar.
- Act as a trusted business partner to senior leadership, including the Global Logistics Leader and local Supply Chain Leaders.
- Cochae site HSE resources across all Atmus sites - manufacturing, technical centers, and distribution centers.
- Develop processes to fully utilize the capabilities of our HSE IT systems (Benchmark Gensuite), digitalizing workflows, improving data analytics, and reporting capabilities.
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated role competence required; a relevant health, safety, or environmental discipline degree preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in a HSE management role, required.
- Experience in Logistics/Distribution Centers HSE management preferred.
- Global/multi-regional, or multi-site experience highly preferred.
- Experience with ISO standards 45001 & 14001, preferred.
