Position Summary :
The Digital Asset Manager (DAM) is responsible for the organization, storage, and retrieval of digital assets, such as images, videos, documents, and other digital content. This role is essential in ensuring that these assets are easily accessible, properly categorized, and secure. Additionally, the DAM will provide critical coordination support to the web and digital media team within the Brand Strategy & Communications Division. This includes day-to-day coordination of the web, digital signage, interactive media, and production work, as needed.
Principal Responsibilities :
- Asset Organization and Metadata Management :
Develop and enforce taxonomy, metadata, and tagging standards.
Facilitate easy retrieval of digital assets by stakeholders.
Implement security measures to protect digital assets.
Streamline workflows related to the creation, approval, and publication of digital assets.
Ensure the quality and consistency of digital assets.
Provide training and support to users of the DAM system.
Generate reports on asset usage, retrieval times, and system performance.
Work closely with IT, marketing, creative, and other departments to understand their asset needs.
Keep abreast of new technologies and trends in digital asset management.
Assist, as needed, in the regular updating and maintenance of the organization's website.
