We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Manager to join our dynamic team.
Job Overview
We are looking for an organized and hands-on individual with strong warehouse experience, computer proficiency, and the ability to confidently use tools and equipment, including electric pallet stackers. This is a versatile role requiring initiative, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility. The ideal candidate will take ownership of warehouse operations, maintain organization, meet deadlines, and proactively assist with vendor and client communication. We are also planning to implement new equipment such as tire changers and balancers, so the candidate should be open to learning and operating this equipment (training provided).
Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Management: Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse space, ensuring all inventory is stored, tracked, and labeled correctly.
- Order Fulfillment and Shipping: Process incoming shipments, prepare products for outgoing orders, ensure accurate packaging and labeling, and coordinate shipments with carriers (UPS, FedEx, etc.).
- Inventory Control: Regularly audit inventory, update records using Google Sheets or inventory software, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Tool & Equipment Use: Confidently use hand tools (drills, wrenches, air tools) for assembly, packaging, or minor repairs.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate electric pallet stackers, tire changers, balancers, and other warehouse equipment (training provided for new tools).
- Client & Vendor Communication: Assist with customer inquiries, product updates, and coordinate with suppliers when needed.
- Photography: Capture high-quality product photos (wheels and vehicles) for our website and marketing materials, ensuring consistency and attention to detail.
- Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to warehouse workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- 2 years of warehouse experience with proven organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and other inventory management tools.
- Experience using hand tools (drills, wrenches, etc.) confidently and safely.
- Experience operating electric pallet stackers or similar equipment (certification is a plus, but training will be provided).
- Open to learning new equipment and processes, including tire changers and balancers (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Proactive mindset with the initiative to solve problems and optimize processes.
- Comfortable communicating professionally with vendors, clients, and team members.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
