Summary:
We are looking for a Facilities Technician I/II with strong electrical and HVAC skills to join our growing team. You will be responsible for performing repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment and systems, primarily chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and air handlers. The ideal candidate will have interest in performing a variety of Facilities tasks such as hazardous gas monitoring, chemical waste collection, painting, plumbing, and office moves, when not working on HVAC systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all HVAC systems.
- Trouble-shoot low voltage and high voltage systems utilizing wiring and electronic schematics and diagnostic equipment.
- Work with the Facility team to complete facilities/maintenance work orders as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school Diploma
- 2 years of HVAC or electro-mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in a Facilities environment
- Low voltage and high voltage electrical control experience
- Know-how trade skills such as plumbing, carpentry, patching/painting, and cleaning operations
- Proficient with computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom and wear protective clothing such as lab coats, shoe coverings, hair covers is required.
- Familiarity with cleanroom and office environments
Work Environment:
- Noise level in the work environment occasionally meets or exceeds the OSHA permissible exposure of 85dBA. In most circumstances, noise levels are relatively quiet to moderate.

Compensation
$25 - $32 hour
