We are seeking an MS (MCITP) Microsoft Certified IT Professional Sr. System / Server Infrastructure Admin to maintain the day-to-day operations of the client 2008 / 2012 SQL Server as well as the Hypervisor Virtual Server environment. The ideal candidate must have proven hands-on experience with DNS, DFSR, Active Directory, Group Policy, Clustering, and SAN / Commvault for backup.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure backup and recoverability of all enterprise SQL server databases.
- Ensure data security.
- Define and implement database access control policies and procedures.
- Advise on physical data model and implement changes.
- Responsible for capacity planning, working closely with the Infrastructure group to allocate appropriate database resources on servers.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of technology and production processes company-wide.
- Keep abreast of new design tools, hardware, software, and technology and make recommendations for future deployment.
Good communication skills are a big priority.
Duration : 6-12 Months with possible extensions.
