Duties
- Oversee all aspects of facility operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Supervise nursing staff and support personnel to maintain high standards of care.
- Ensure facility is compliant from a federal and state level, routine inspections
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Ensure the rights of residents are upheld and promote a culture of respect and dignity.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to optimize operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with social workers to address the emotional and social needs of residents.
- Implement training programs for staff on best practices in care techniques.
- Foster a positive environment that encourages resident engagement and participation in activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferred.
- Current state Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
- 1-3 years of experience managing a facility.
- Proven experience in operations management within a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team development and performance management.
- Knowledge of resident rights, care plans, and regulations governing nursing homes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
