JOB DESCRIPTION

Performs various food service tasks, including food preparation, serving, dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness. Provides excellent customer service and may operate a cash register.
Education/Experience
:
- High school enrollment, diploma, or GED required.
- Experience in food service or customer service preferred.

Essential Functions
:
- Monitor food quality, recipe compliance, and department standards.
- Meet schedules for productivity, delivery, and serving times.
- Minimize waste, control costs, and follow portion guidelines.
- Maintain and properly use equipment and supplies.
- Ensure high patient and customer satisfaction.
- Achieve and maintain high sanitation and inspection ratings.
- Follow safety and sanitation rules.
- Complete required training and compliance programs.
- Support department improvement initiatives and team collaboration.
- Deliver and retrieve food trays safely and courteously.
- Address concerns and assist patients, visitors, and staff.
- Follow hospital policies and provide excellent customer service.

- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
