Position Overview :
Our client, an expanding construction company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to become a valuable member of the team. This role will focus mainly on managing the company's AIA billings and ensuring the completeness of the entire billing package, including lien waivers and other necessary documentation.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist :
- Construction Accounting Experience : Utilize a robust background in construction accounting to manage financial activities efficiently.
- Monthly WIP Reports : Prepare and review monthly Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports, ensuring accuracy and making necessary corrections.
- Quarterly WIP Adjustments : Collaborate with the Controller to perform quarterly WIP adjustments.
- Job Cost Processing : Manage all aspects of job cost processing from initiation to completion, including setup, change orders, draws, lien releases, and related tasks.
- Accounts Receivable Management : Handle the full accounts receivable cycle, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual progress billings per contract terms, recording payments, processing deposits, and generating monthly reports.
