Salary / Hourly Rate :
35 / hr - $37 / hr Depending on experience
Position Overview :
The Electro-mechanical Technician will be responsible for electrical maintenance and repairs in an industrial setting. The Electro-mechanical Technician should have strong electrical knowledge, good mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot and fix complex systems. The Electro-mechanical Technician must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
Responsibilities of the Electro-mechanical Technician :
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including motors, VFDs, PLCs, control panels, lighting, and power distribution.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing equipment (multimeter, megger, etc.).
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Follow all safety regulations, including lockout / tagout and PPE requirements.
- Assist with general maintenance and repairs as needed.
