Salary / Hourly Rate :
75k - 90k annually.
Position Overview :
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll and Benefits Manager to oversee payroll processing and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have expertise in payroll systems, compliance, and the unique needs of a hospitality or country club setting. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong grasp of employment laws, and experience working with a diverse workforce, including seasonal employees.
Responsibilities of the Payroll and Benefits Manager :
- The Payroll and Benefits Manager will process payroll efficiently using ADP Workforce Now and troubleshoot system issues to optimize performance.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll regulations, including preparing and filing quarterly / annual tax forms (W-2s, 1099s, 941s).
- The Payroll and Benefits Manager will administer and coordinate employee benefits programs such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
- Manage open enrollment and address employee benefits inquiries effectively.
- Conduct payroll and benefits reconciliations, including vacation accrual tracking.
- Handle audits and payroll tax filings accurately.
- The Payroll and Benefits Manager will collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with employment laws (FLSA, ACA, FMLA).
- Provide payroll and benefits support for a diverse workforce, including full-time, part-time, and seasonal (H2B and J1) employees.
- The Payroll and Benefits Manager will maintain accurate financial records and assist with accounting functions such as journal entries, AR / AP, and reconciliations.
