Our client is looking for a Senior Accounting Assistant with a solid foundation in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), as well as experience in financial analysis. This individual will be responsible for not only managing day-to-day accounting tasks but also performing detailed analyses to support decision-making and improve processes. Responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Assistant :
- Manage and process AP / AR transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Reconcile invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and customer accounts.
- Perform financial analysis of AP / AR to identify trends and variances.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
- Provide financial insights and support decision-making with data analysis.
- Prepare management reports, including budget analysis and cash flow forecasting.
- Collaborate with vendors and customers to resolve discrepancies.
