Job Description: ICU Registered Nurse (9-bed Unit)

Join our dedicated ICU team, providing exceptional care in a 9-bed Intensive Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Ratio: Standard ratio of 2 patients to 1 nurse. May adjust to 1:1 based on patient needs. For Med/Surg overflows, ratios can increase to 3-4 patients per nurse.
• Shift Details: 12-hour day or night shifts, working 72 hours every two weeks.
• Patient Demographics: Primarily adult ICU patients, with occasional stable pediatric cases. Unstable pediatric patients are transferred to a higher level of care.
• Team Composition: A minimum of three nurses will be staffed on each shift.
• Charge Nurse Duties: An additional $2.00 per hour is offered for charge nurse assignments.
• Floating: Nurses may float to other departments to assist (without taking on a full team of patients) as needed.

Requirements:

• Certifications: PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is mandatory.

Pay: $2,644.44 - $2,844.44 per week
