Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for critical care nursing and providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform airway management and provide respiratory support to critically ill patients
- Conduct triage assessments and prioritize patient care based on acuity levels
- Administer gastric lavage and other critical interventions as needed
- Utilize advanced physiology and anatomy knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and monitor patient responses to treatments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for patients with behavioral health needs
- Maintain accurate medical records using MDS software
- Provide specialized care for pediatric patients in the ICU
Experience
- Previous experience in an ICU setting is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in airway management, triage, and diagnostic evaluation
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and gastric lavage techniques
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
