Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing and be committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patients' conditions, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and assist with procedures such as spinal taps and other critical interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety within the unit.
Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in an ICU or critical care setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with emergency room (ER) protocols and procedures is advantageous.
- Experience with operating room (OR) environments is a plus.
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation techniques related to critical care nursing.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.

Pay: $65.00 - $76.00 per hour
