Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data to assess patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of telemetry equipment in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely information regarding patient conditions.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and report any abnormalities or changes in patient status.
- Maintain accurate records of patient monitoring and communicate findings to the medical team.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols within the lab environment.
- Participate in cardiac catheterization procedures as needed, supporting the medical team during interventions.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, medical terminology, and vital signs interpretation.
- Experience or training in telemetry monitoring, cardiology, or emergency medicine preferred.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques and equipment used in telemetry labs.
