About This Internship
The Flight Support Intern at ABX Air Inc. will gain firsthand experience in flight operations and dispatch support within a fast-paced air cargo environment. ABX Air, a subsidiary of Air Transport Services Group (ATSG), specializes in air cargo transportation and aircraft operations, providing airlift services to domestic and international partners. This internship offers a unique opportunity for students studying aviation management or flight dispatch to develop critical skills in flight coordination, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
· Assist aircraft dispatchers in daily operations.
· Provide direct communication support to flight crew members.
· Monitor flight progress for charter operations, CVG, and ILN operations.
· Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with FAA requirements.
· Perform data entry and flight operations analysis to support dispatch functions.
· Work closely with Crew Scheduling, System Travel, System Control, and Charter departments to ensure seamless operational execution.
