About This Internship
The IT Intern at Air Transport Services Group, Inc. (ATSG) will gain hands-on experience in desktop support, software upgrades, and IT infrastructure management. ATSG is a leading provider of air cargo transportation and related services, and its IT department plays a crucial role in maintaining the company’s technological efficiency. This internship is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, offering opportunities to work directly with IT professionals on system upgrades, troubleshooting, and hardware/software support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide desktop support, assisting employees with hardware and software troubleshooting
- Support Windows operating system upgrades, including Windows 11 implementation
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Office products
- Work with IT teams to ensure smooth operation of computer systems and user support services
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of computer hardware, Microsoft Office products, and Windows operating systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience with desktop support, system upgrades, or IT troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Windows 11 deployment and enterprise software environments
