What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at ATTC Manufacturing?
ATTC Manufacturing, a Tier 2 automotive supplier, has an opening for a Maintenance Supervisor in our Jeffersonville, IN facility. Established in 2000. ATTC specializes in machining brake drums, brake rotors, steering knuckles, carriers, and differential cases. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for coordinating activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, and in fabricating metal parts and tools.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1) Directing team members in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment; 2) Assisting team members in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment; 3) Modifying programming of robots and related equipment such as robot controllers and programmable controllers; and, 4) analyzing and resolving work problems and assisting in solving work problems.
The successful candidate will have the following: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience; proven experience as a supervisor; experience with Mitsubishi and/or Fanuc Robots including teaching positions, setups and, making adjustments; Knowledge in industrial electrical and mechanical systems, pneumatics, and PLCs; good computer skills; excellent planning and leadership skills; and, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The person in this position must also be hands-on in the plant, have strong organizational skills and be self-motivated.
