CNC Lathes and Mills 2nd shift
Aerospace machine shop looking for CNC setup/operators for 2nd shift.
Summary
As a CNC Lathe and Mills Operator for 2nd shift, you will be integral to our manufacturing process, reporting directly to the Production Supervisor. Your primary responsibility will be to set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, ensuring precision and quality in machining components. Utilizing your core skills in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge, you will maintain high standards of quality control. Your proficiency in CNC programming and familiarity with precision measuring instruments will enhance production efficiency. Duties would be:
- 3 years minimum setup experience on CNC lathes or mills.
- Aerospace experience is preferred.
- Prepares machine for production.
- Regulates machining by setting and adjusting controls.
- Produces parts by locating and aligning workpiece against stops and guides.
- Maintains specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls.
- Resolves production problems by altering process to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

S9100 Aerospace Machine Shop
Blueprint Reading
Proficient in utilization of hand gauges, micrometers, calipers, height stands, thread tri-rolls, etc.
Able to run CMM is a plus.
Working Knowledge of Geometrical Tolerancing and Dimensioning (ASME Y 14.5)
Detailed oriented, able to stay on task, showing up for work.
Data input Word & Excel is required.
Pay Range depends on experience, to be negotiated.
Reliable transportation, daily overtime as needed.
Salary : $18 - $25
