We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Support meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
- Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
- Facilitate mobility assistance and transportation for appointments or errands.
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for the client.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
- Offer support for individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in home health care, senior care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with first aid practices is beneficial.
- Experience in memory care settings is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- A compassionate demeanor and a strong desire to help others.
- Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks as part of daily routines.
