We are seeking an experienced technician to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day tasks involved in building, testing, and documenting electronic and optoelectronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble IDCAs (Integrated dewar and cooler assemblies) following documented process steps.
- Train and assist others in manufacturing processes related to dewar assembly.
- Record process data and equipment logs to identify trends, diagnose process issues, and implement corrective actions to improve yield, quality, and throughput.
- Communicate results and observations with Engineers.
- Perform incoming inspection of components using measurement tools and equipment.
- Maintain cleanroom protocol and follow FOD reduction procedures.
- Kit new builds using an inventory and ERP system.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar environment with extensive hands-on laboratory and/or manufacturing support experience.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail with a focus on safety and areas of improvement.
- Organized and methodical approach to work.
- Windows-based PC experience with Outlook, Excel, and Word operation.
- Will to wear PPE (personal protective equipment).
- Fine motor skills.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to work with loosely defined requirements to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in dewar assembly, wire bonding.
- Rigorous familiarity with electrical lab test electronics.
- Familiarity with hand tools – wrenches, screw drivers, hex keys, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
