We have been engaged to assist our client, SciSafe, in their search for a Vice President, Finance. SciSafe is a leading provider of secure, temperature-controlled storage solutions for the life sciences sector. The Company, founded in 2010 and headquartered in Cranbury, NJ, serves the pharmaceutical, research, and clinical industries. With a track record of growth and strong private equity backing from 1315 Capital, SciSafe is poised for accelerated expansion.
This is a newly created role and the first finance addition to the senior leadership team. The Vice President of Finance will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, forecasting, budgeting, and cash management.
Technical Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required. MBA / CPA preferred.
- 15 years of accounting / finance experience.
- Experience working in a recurring revenue business model strongly preferred. Facilities, storage, or related service industry experience a plus. Private equity experience preferred.
- Executive presence : ability to function as a member of the management team, and to add value to the organization beyond the financial arena.
