The Mapper is energetic, self-motivated and detail oriented, with experience in preparing design drawings for oil and gas gathering, midstream, transmission and distribution projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Designs must adhere to applicable codes, standards, project specific requirements and procedures. Overall attention to accuracy and quality with an emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction is a must. In this role, an employee will be expected to develop and demonstrate proficiency in regards to the essential functions of the job found below.Requirements
- Generate pipeline and utility alignment sheets throughout the stages of a project, including IFA, IFR, IFB, and IFC, to include but not limited to pipe specifications, profile, pipe band, and stationing. - Draft and design permit drawings for bores and horizontal directional drills. - Draft and design non-environmental permit drawings and legal plats. - Generate Facility Plot Plans. - Responsible for maintenance and management of CAD specifications, templates and design models. - Knowledge and application of design codes and regulations is required. - Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job. - Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned. - Must possess a valid driver’s license.Day to Day
- Three (3) years of experience drafting in the oil and gas industry. - Advanced skills using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as: AutoCAD Civil 3D, and BlueSky software. - QA/QC experience a plus.Oil and Gas Pipeline Operator
